Second session went off without a hitch!
After the rescuing their NPC friend Eddie, the party escorted him out of the dungeon (so he could go back to town and heal) and decided to keep delving without him.
They did so more exploring and found some dead bodies around a table loaded with food and drink. The dead were looted.
No, they did not partake.
After exploring the room, they found some secret doors that led to a garden room. I decided that any fruit/veggie that grew underground without light were poisonous.*
They did some exploring of the south-western side of the dungeon, yelled at a amphibian man, and decided not to get high on mushrooms.
After some more exploring, they came across a wandering monster with more HD than everyone in the party combined. They heroically ran away and lead it into a trap (slightly edited from the module as written).
It got impaled on the trap and they shot it dead with arrows. Outside the range of its claws. The stuff of heroes right here!
Later on, they met a couple of elves who agreed to go with the party. The party does not trust them.
In a room full of giant maggots, they spied a sarcophagus. While approaching it, a giant head appeared and told them to run or die.
So they did. Who knows what was inside? I mean, I do, but they don’t!
We’ll see if they will head down to the next level next time…
The wandering monster table in this module is BRUTAL. I know my players might read this, so I can’t so much more.
Remembering the Fallen
None… this time.
Do You Want In?
Sunday nights from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm-ish Central Time on Roll 20.
It’s a “drop in / drop out” deal. You can’t make a session? No big deal. Don’t like my GMing style and want out? No big deal. You can hit me up on Twitter (@NotJohnDaker), email (email@example.com), or MeWe (if you know Power Word: My Real Name).
* The difference between poisonous and venomous makes me chuckle. I want to create a monster called a “Poisonous Snake” with the following rules:
If it bites you, you take normal hp damage
If you try to eat it, you save vs. poison or die
